Overview
Krasa Bozinovska is an experienced wills, deceased estates and elder law lawyer and holds a Masters of Applied Law in the area of Wills and Estates.
Prior to her admission as a lawyer in 1997, Krasa worked in a paralegal capacity in the legal sections of a major bank, where she acquired experience in loan transactions and developed skills in forensic accounting. Krasa has since used these skills to investigate and legally challenge a variety of financial transactions including misappropriated funds and unconscionable loan transactions particularly in the context of elder abuse but also in deceased estate matters.
Following her admission, Krasa has worked as a lawyer in a variety of settings, including, for a community legal centre, for a regulator and for the NSW Trustee and Guardian where she applied her industry knowledge and experience in equitable remedies for the benefit of vulnerable members of the community and beneficiaries of deceased estates as well as acquiring experience in other aspects of wills and estates law.

Since that time Krasa has built up a practice in the preparation of wills, enduring powers of attorney and guardianship, probate, estate litigation, particularly family provision claims, and related matters of capacity.
For a period of three years, Krasa was a member of the NSW Law Society’s Elder Law, Capacity and Succession Committee. She has also worked as a volunteer solicitor at the Kingsford Community Legal Centre and the Wesley Mission.
Areas of expertise
Preparation of Wills and Enduring documents
Krasa has been engaged for many years in the preparation of Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney and the appointment of Enduring Guardian. Often the transaction has included the appointment of individuals living overseas.
Krasa’s clients have come from a variety of backgrounds and personal and financial circumstances. While most of Krasa’s clients are local, a number live outside of the Eastern Suburbs and overseas.
A major focus of Krasa’s expertise relates to an individual’s capacity and conflict management.
Krasa’s overall estate planning expertise includes disputes in the Guardianship Division of the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal over financial management and guardianship.
Probate and Estate Administration
Krasa’s probate and estate administration service offerings include the application for Probate and Letters of Administration, Next of Kin enquiries including genealogical searches, publication of notices, estate administration, including the recovery of debts owed to the estate and transferring of jointly owned property to the surviving joint tenant.
She is also experienced as an appointed administrator in deceased estates pursuant to a power of attorney from a foreign beneficiary.
Will Disputes
Krasa has conducted litigation in will disputes in areas such as the validity of a will, the exclusion of family and other people from a will or inadequate provision. She has acted in matters for both the estates and beneficiaries and has conducted negotiations and settlements of claims against estates. She has also completed a course in Alternate Dispute Resolution from Leadr and has been an accredited mediator.
Elder Law
Krasa has extensive experience in the conduct of matters involving elder financial abuse and is able to conduct forensic investigations, advise on proposed litigation for the recovery of misappropriated funds and property, the validity of loan and mortgage transactions as well as “granny flat” arrangements.
She is also able to advise on, assist with and make applications for the review of enduring powers of attorney and guardianship appointments as well as applications for guardianship and financial management orders or the revocation of these orders.
Notarial work
Krasa provides notarial services of all kinds including the notarisation of copy documents such as passports and other documents and the execution of documents such as powers of attorney, contracts and affidavits for use in a foreign country.
